What is an ATS score?
An ATS (Applicant Tracking System) score measures how well your resume is optimized for automated recruiting software. A higher score means more of your applications reach human reviewers. Spireix evaluates 25+ parameters including keywords, grammar, structure, and formatting.
What file formats do you support?
We support PDF (.pdf), Microsoft Word (.doc and .docx) files up to 5MB. PDF is the recommended format for the most accurate text parsing and ATS compatibility.
How long does the analysis take?
Typically 8–15 seconds depending on your file size and connection speed. Our Gemini AI processes the full document through all 10 checkpoint steps in real-time.
Is my resume stored on your servers?
No. Your resume is processed in memory and is never saved to our servers without your consent. We take privacy seriously — your career data belongs only to you.

What is keyword matching and why does it matter?
Keyword matching (Step 4 of the ATS check) compares your resume's skills and terminology against a specific job description. ATS systems filter candidates who don't match required keywords — even if they're otherwise qualified. Our Pro tool identifies exactly which keywords are missing.
How do I use keyword matching?
In Step 4 of your resume analysis, enter your target job title or paste the full job description. Spireix will show you which keywords are present and which are missing, along with suggestions to add them naturally.
Will keyword stuffing help my score?
No. Adding keywords unnaturally can trigger spam filters in modern ATS systems. Spireix suggests strategic placement of keywords within your experience bullets and skills section for genuine ATS optimization.

How does the Resume Builder work?
Our modular Resume Builder lets you add, edit, and reorder sections with real-time health scoring. As you build, a dynamic gauge updates with Errors (red), Improvements (yellow), and Passed items (green). Free sections include Contact, Skills, Education, and Work Experience. Pro sections include Publications, Awards, Patents, and more.
What templates are available?
Free users get 3 basic templates. Paid plans unlock all templates: Crisp Monochrome, Green Elegance, Sahara Contrast, Glacier Chill, and Two-Column layouts. Pro users can also customize fonts and colors.
Can I download my resume as a PDF?
Free users can download 2 PDFs per month. Basic and Pro users get unlimited PDF and Word document downloads.
Cover Letter Builder
How does the AI Cover Letter Builder work?
The Cover Letter Builder (Pro feature) uses a rich-text editor with a character counter (up to 4,000 characters). To generate with AI, paste the job description (minimum 200 characters) and select which of your saved resumes to base it on. Gemini AI then generates a fully tailored cover letter streamed directly into your editor.
Can I edit the AI-generated cover letter?
Absolutely. The generated cover letter is fully editable with our rich-text editor (bold, italic, lists, alignment). Think of it as a first draft that you refine to your voice.

How do I pay for a plan?

What billing cycles are available?
Pro plan is available in 1-month (₹399), 3-month (₹1,077 — save 10%), and 6-month (₹1,915 — save 20%) cycles. Longer cycles offer significant savings.
Can I cancel my subscription?
Yes. Cancel anytime from your dashboard Settings > Subscription > Cancel Plan. Your access continues until the end of the current billing period — no prorating.
